
Munish Dayal
Munish Dayal is an experienced litigator who has handled a wide range of matters in state and federal courts including intellectual property matters, class action and unfair business practice defense, securities and business tort litigation, employment and wage and hour disputes, insurance coverage, and bad faith proceedings. Mr. Dayal also has substantial experience advising insurers on regulatory matters before state regulators as well as managed health care plans in disputes with hospitals and other health care providers. Mr. Dayal has an in-depth understanding of the insurance industry gained through several years of experience representing insurers, and has co-authored numerous insurance law treatise chapters published by Lexis/Matthew Bender.
Prior to joining Joseph, Aleem & Slowik, LLC, Mr. Dayal practiced at Barger & Wolen LLP (now Hinshaw & Culbertson LLP), and also gained experience practicing commercial and business litigation at Michelman & Robinson LLP, where he assisted in representing private equity funds, hedge funds, financial companies, insurers, healthcare institutions, and businesses in matters involving securities, employment discrimination, wage and hour and intellectual property issues.
Prior to attending law school, he worked in the financial industry for Citigroup’s Global Consumer Group Legal and Compliance department and for Morgan Stanley’s Fixed Income Operations Group.
